16 Slot Pads for deep curves The 16 petals mean the pad conforms perfectly to the tool for deep curves (Colours of pads may vary from time to time) Centre - A 1000 grit coated abrasive pad for first fining. Left - A very fine 3 micron abrasive pad for second fining. Right - A high quality flocked pad for polishing deep curves.

Alloy All blocking metals are available - prices on application due to fluctuating prices of metals.

Buttons, Blocking These aluminium blocking buttons are much kinder on your machine because they are not so heavy, so the life of your surfacing machinery should be extended. The buttons can be designed for all standard makes of machinery and the deep version allows high base lenses to be blocked on standard rings. Designed and made in the UK.

Cutters for Gerber generator Our Op-T-Cut cutters have superior consistency from cutter to cutter and can be re-trued 6 times instead of 5 for the Gerber cutter, which makes them excellent value for money. Gerber cutters can be retrued too, as the CNC manufacturing process controls constancy of all tool parameters. Available for Polycarbonate as well as CR39.

Defoam Probably the most reasonably priced Defoam on the market, but very effective as it is highly concentrated - use just a few drops normally. Available in 1 litre or 5 litres.

First Fine or One Step Pads Black AL (right) and 1200G Green are both precision graded, coated abrasive pads for one-step or two-step fining. Black AL is a high quality pad and can be used on all types of plastic lenses – it has three main advantages: - Excellent surface finish - High Stock Removal - Competitive price Available in grit sizes 800, 1000 and 1200. For CR39 one-step fining we recommend Black 1000AL, Black 1200AL or 1200G. For two-step fining we recommend Black 1200AL or 1200G Green. A special flexible backing on both results in a very fine finish. They are available as compensated and uncompensated.

Glass Fining P18 and P20 grade emeries are both available for quality glass fining, in 25 kg packs. For other emeries, please ask.

Glass Fining Pads Zinc embossed - A durable zinc foil pad with an embossed surface, supplied in rolls of 1000. It has good abrasion resistance, allowing it to smooth up to 8 surfaces per pad. Should be applied to the tool with a pad press.

Glass Pads Diamond pad - the most economical way to surface glass lenses, this pad is made with best quality diamond particles embedded in a sintered metal matrix. We also offer a good quality glass polishing pad for single use. Extremely uniform in thickness and density, resulting in a very consistent performance.
